Turkeygirl
I picked up a .410 back at the end of summer and need to get a Red Dot or Reflex sight for it but I am looking forward to a different challenge and also a nice lightweight gun for hiking and maneuvering. Anyone else been using one or planning to use one?
Strut10
I picked up a .410 single last year and set it up with a red dot for my boy. It's a fixed full choke gun and it shoots the 3" Federal TSS #9 shells pretty darned well to 40 yards. But, I'm about to send the barrel out to have Mr. William Lambert at Sumtoy Customs work his magic (and this guy DOES work magic !!) on it. I think I will take it to Florida as a backup gun to my (also tricked out at Sumtoy) 20 gauge single.

Strut10
Right now, there's a $29 BSA 30mm tube sight on it, just to get a feel for the gun's potential. I put a Weaver rail on the gun for a mount. When all's said and done, I have a N.I.B. Burris 135 Speed Dot sight that will go on it. I love that sight for a turkey gun. Have it on several of mine. Wish they still made them.
Turkeygirl
So I have a Burris FF3 on the way for the .410...finally some of the Red Dots are back in stock. Was able to find it online at Cabelas and saved some $ as well.
Strut10
Good deal. Now, get it stuck together and print some paper with it. Hope you already have ammo for it......................
Turkeygirl
Update: the Burris FF3 arrived and just ordered an EGW mount for it...it will mount it a little lower than the factory mount that comes with the Stevens. Now just trying to find an aftermarket choke. Red alot of reviews that the choke that comes with the gun, they are not consistent on their diameter.
