Guest NS_HUNTER Posted March 21, 2005 Report Share Posted March 21, 2005 Just had one of my racks scored yesterday.I help out with putting up racks and sheds and selling tickets at the Sportsmen and R.V show here in Nova Scotia.Anyway I didn,t bother looking at the score sheet because I thought I had a ten pointer that netted 169 typical.Well on the way home I decided to look at the score sheet and what I saw surprised me.Instead of a ten point he was scored as a typical 8 point because his left G4 was not long enough and his right G4 was a deduction.He grossed 181 typical and with 12 inches of deductions he netted 169 as an 8 pointer.I also won 1st for biggest typical.I still can,t believe it Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest NS_HUNTER Posted March 21, 2005 Report Share Posted March 21, 2005 Re: Big 8 Pointer I,ll put some numbers down to keep you wondering what he looks like.LOL.Left beam is 26 4/8,right is 27 6/8.Tines range in size from a G4 on the right that is a deduction goes 3 0/8 and the rest of the tines are from 8 1/8 to 10 7/8.H3,s are 9 1/8 right and 6 2/8 for the left.Right side total is 84 6/8 and the left is 75 4/8.Insie goes 20 6/8 and outside goes 23 3/8.It,s 10:45A.M here in Nova Scotia and I should have pix up by 3:00 today. I've seen times where tines similar to those on your deer have been debated. It wouldn't matter to me because that is a HUGE set of bone you got there.
