Strut_Buster Posted March 22, 2005 Report Share Posted March 22, 2005 loose the the scent blocker. Pick up a bunch of calls. I recomend slate and glass HS calls. And Several mouth calls. Also, A blind. This would be a good excuse for a Double bull or if you like to run and gun HS makes a nice blind that stakes in the grond in fron of you. Locator call. Crow preferably. You also gonna want some light mesh gloves and a mesh hednet. A hen Decoy and possibly a jake decoy. Water/gatoraide. Diffrent strikers (they make diffren sounds on slate/glass surfaces.) A vest of backpack. Preferably a vest. Maybe a cousion so you but don't get wet. A compact pair of binocs. For windy days a High pitched box call. For rainy days slate and mouth. For calm days a soft call. A good hat. A pair of pruneing shears of a saw. If you have a leatherman with a small saw that works great. But great eyesight. Good waterproof hiking boots that fit well and are broken in. A compass. Map of the area you'll be hunting. Other stuff's already been mentioned.
