Chrud
I'm pretty sure I want to get a TC Encore as my next rifle. But, I don't think I can buy one yet because I'm not 21. Correct me if I'm wrong, please! How much did you pay for your Encore in a centerfire? I'm looking at a synthetic (Hardwoods HD) and stainless, probably in a .280 to .30-06 caliber. I was looking in the Cabela's catalog and they have a buttstock and forend for a total of about $110. Barrels are about $265. Would it pay to get the stock and forend and get a barrel after I'm 21, or just wait and get it all at once? I thought they costed A LOT more than that. kooter
Re: TC Encore Price i think you can buy the rifle now, just not the handgun. i have the shotgun i think was around 550. then bought a barrel $234 and a new forearm $30 at cabelas. you still have to buy the trigger and hammer piece to make it work though. hangunnr
Re: TC Encore Price Matt, Check out eBay for the camo Encore stocks. There always seem to be plenty to bid on. hangunnr
tedicast
Re: TC Encore Price I bought my Encore muzzleloader, for just under $600. It is stainless, with the Hardwoods stock. Since then I have bought a 12 gauge slug barrel, and a 26" Heavy barrel .223 for it. It has become my favorite gun. Next I want to buy either a 25-06 barrel, or a .280 barrel. Or, maybe both! AJ
Re: TC Encore Price You can get the stocks, grips, and/or barrels anytime. You can't get the receiver until you are 21.
Chrud
Re: TC Encore Price I guess waiting would be alright too. I need a bow this year. I'd like to get a custom .260 24" stainless barrel for it. That could even be my #1 caliber for it.

preacherman
Re: TC Encore Price I bought a .280 in the Encore this year. It is blued and synthetic, but I only paid $419 for the gun brand new in the box at Woods and Water in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. I know that probably doesn't help anyone out of state, but it sure was the cheapest that I had ever found.
