Bowtech_archer07
Hey everybody. I patterned my shotgun with an H.S. Undertaker choke tube. It patterned very well, but i couldn't shoot for anything. I always jerk the trigger b/c i anticipate the recoil. Just thought i'd let everybody know. I shot about a 12 in. pattern at 30 yds. I am pretty happy with this.
Guest kracey
Re: patterned my new shotgun Look into a SIms Recoil Pad. It will reduce the recoil significatly and will help you not jump as much.

Strut_Buster
Re: patterned my new shotgun Before you buy the pad. I'd get on your hunting clothes and see how bad the recoil is. Full battle gear then see how the recoil treats ya. But if your still botherd. Slap a recoil rag on it and shoot again
Nut
Re: patterned my new shotgun I am in agreement with TPHUnter on this. I did have a bad habit when shooting 3 1/2 inchers but learned to overcome it by not gripping with my left hand. (I was jerking downward to compensate and always missed) But I can tell you that when I shot my turkey last spring there was no problems before, during and after. Covehnter
Re: patterned my new shotgun Just put more and more pressure on the trigger, that way it surprises you when it goes off. . . and you wont flinch. Again you wont find that problem when you're shooting at a turkey, you'll just find yourself getting up off your back! hehe
