RDNKHNTR77
I dont use scents very often but i have rattled in deer during mid-late october/pre rut. During the peak of the rut i usually do not do much blind calling but if i see a buck that is not coming in ill throw a doe bleat at him and usually it gets them those last few yds closer. The_Kat
Re: scent/calls I use tinks 69 during the rut over mock or natural scrapes. I start rattling in mid October, and I only use a call in the rut. Kyle
Squirrelhunter91
Re: scent/calls I grunt all season long, but only doe bleat during the rut.. As for rattling around here, you can do it all season long... The bucks around here know what you are talking about when they hear rattling antlers.. You know what I mean? As for scents, everytime I used them, I always got busted. I would always hear snorts and stuff. I am positive it wasn't me because every other time I didn't use scents, a deer came by.
