EKYhunter
Does anyone know how to removed the front bead from the rib? Does it pull out or does it screw out? Thanks.

AJ
Re: Benelli Bead Question Yep, I would unscrew it first. If it is a pull out, it will come out or stay at the same level. If its threaded, it will come up.

Guest ketchum
Re: Benelli Bead Question I'm usung the .660 Rhino and the Nitro's. In a steady grip it will put over 300 shot in a 10" circle at 40 yards. My hunting partner has the same gun, it puts just under 300 in the same circle at 40 yards. I talked to Nitro they said the bore has to be super clean and smooth to shoot the best. If you have any questions about the setup I'll be glad to help. I've shot over 40 of the Nitro's on paper so far.
EKYhunter
Re: Benelli Bead Question I've had a Mossberg 500, an 870 SPS, an 870 super mag, an 11-87, and a Browning Gold NWTF Edition before getting the Benelli this year. I've got to say that the steady grip is the best feeling turkey gun I've owned! Also, the Rhino/Nitro combo is awesome! Expensive? Yes but I think it's worth it. I mean we spend so much on other hunting stuff why not go a little extra and get what's arguably the best choke/load combo for the big birds. Have you done any work to your benelli? If so what? Oh yeah..I got the Hi-Viz from wally world that replaces the front bead. I put the smallest red one in and it's great. I'd had good experience with Hi-viz on my Browning as I'd taken 6 turkeys with it it three years.
