Swamphunter
I currently have a Remington model 700 30-06, that I have had for a vry long time and have killed a considerable amount of deer with. It is still in great condition and has been well cared for. I was thinking though of possibly having it reblued to either a matte or stainless finish as I want to add a matte finish scope to it. I have had rifles reblued before, but never to a matte finish. Is this something that can be done and who does it if so. It has been years since I had one reblued and all I can remember was I shipped it to a company in Florida to be done. Thanks.
David_218
Re: Matte finish re-blueing? Try this weblink: http://www.coatingtechnologiesinc.com/ I had them "Chromesulphide" a stainless steel Ruger M-77 MKII back in 1992, and they did a superb job. The finish is "Matt" and they will aslo do scopes.
