deerhunter10
I am right handed but I can shoot on my right and left shoulder. How many of you other guys out there can shoot like this? Do you think its an advantage or disadvantage to the shooter? -DH10
tedicast
Re: Shooting from both sides. I think it is definately an advantage. My brother has shot 2 deer left handed. He is a right handed shooter naturally.both deer came up on him from the wrong side, and he couldn't twist around without getting pegged. He shouldered the gun lefty and took them both. Me, I can't even dream of shooting left handed
AJ
Re: Shooting from both sides. Its definately an advantage to be a switch hitter. I can shoot a rifle decently on stationary targets from both sided, but wingshooting, no way. Right handed only.
MadHuntinPastor
Re: Shooting from both sides. I would and could do it in a pinch. Total advantage. Agree with above story.
deerhunter10
Re: Shooting from both sides. I started out shooting a .410 left handed and my uncle noticed I was shooting left handed and asked me to shoot right handed. From then on I have the same acurracy from both sides. lil hunter
Re: Shooting from both sides. My dad shoots both ways, Shooting left handed is one thing I want to learn. It feels so odd though.
Shaun_300
Re: Shooting from both sides. I can shoot from both sides as well. i am naturally right handed, but i can shoot left handed no problem. i defiently think that this a major advantage to the shooter. ZooBear
Re: Shooting from both sides. I do better with my right but I can shoot left side about as well. I like to switch during a round of trap, that shakes the squad up pretty good.

johnf
Re: Shooting from both sides. I can go lefty, but not nearly as well as right. I would only take a shot if it were pretty easy.

too_pointer
Re: Shooting from both sides. This is interesting. It probably wouldn't hurt while at the range to shoot with both hands, so you know if you could do it or not and feel comfortable. too_pointer
