[/ QUOTE ] The only way one can find the BEST performing load for their M/L is to just experiment with different loads and bullets. My particular M/L a .50 T/C Black Diamond shoots very accurately with 90 Grains (Volume) of Triple 7 (FFG) behind a 250 grain saboted .452" Hornady XTP bullet using a 209 primer. JimT
Re: What load to use? Two 50gr Pyrodex pellets behind a 250gr Shockwave work great in my Black Diamond...Thats all I know. You will have to get out and try a could loads to see what will work out for your new gun. Have fun with it.

too_pointer
Re: What load to use? Welcome to the forums monsterbuk In my Encore I'm using 100 grns. of 777 pellets and a .295 gr. powerbelt bullet. As the barrels differ between muzzloloaders rifles you need to try different loads to see how well your gun likes them. What shoots great in mine doesn't mean it will in yours. too_pointer
