NYBUCK
Your going to hear this alot..... Shoot them all and decide which one best fits you and feels right. I shoot a mathews and probably will never change, but it is all personal preference.
tedicast
Re: Which One..? nybuck hit it right on the head. I also shoot a Mathews. You have to shoot what you are comfortable with. You can't go by what everyone else shoots. Each company out there makes some darn good bows. You should get out there and shoot a few, to get an idea what each company has to offer. after handling, and shooting a few bows, the right bow will pick you. Good luck! Guest kracey
Re: Which One..? I like PSE too. I have a PSE Thunderbolt. But the new PSE Vengence looks awesome. But I have to agree with what some others have said, The Archery Research bows look great too. And you could always look at brownings they are made by PSE too. Chrud
Re: Which One..? Shooting several different bows is the key. Ask ten people and you'll probably get 10 different answers. If you are looking to save some money, you can get brand new 2004's pretty cheap. I'm planning on getting a Mathews. I'm leaning towards the Switchback or maybe the Outback. They aren't cheap, but a dream to shoot. If you are looking at Mathews, but don't want to spend a lot, check out the FX2.

magnatecsteve
Re: Which One..? I would check out the REFLEX line too. Quality of the Hoyt's, lower cost, sweet looking bows..
Orion_70
Re: Which One..? I just got my Parker in today.. the bows they have today all work just fine.. I shot a recurve for years, just find one you like and get that one, don't worry about brand names
ThethirdI
Re: Which One..? I shoot a Goleden Eagle Z-lite which my friends would never touch because of the under your hand cam design and the weight. My point is that every one who said the bow will pick you is right. Different bows for different folks. A bow is like a piece of clothing it either fits or it doesn't. Good luck!
ThethirdI
Re: Which One..? There are so many folks out there shooting Mathews bows that I am ashamed I have never shot one. I am going to have to remedy that. I suppose the price of one is the hardest thing to swallow. But hey if it shoots well and fits well I guess price is no object. The meat on the table will be worth every penny. Ha!Ha!
IowaDeerHunter
Re: Which One..? I also have to agree, shoot a lot of them ,and find the one that fits you perfectly. If I were to suggest a single bow def. the Matthews switchback, but if you want it a little more than a 100 dollars cheaer go with the outback. there is nothing with the outback either! Born4it
Re: Which One..? COuldn't go wrong with a Mathews or a Hoyt would definitely be a great value too. I'm getting a brand new 32 inch axle to axle ViperTec this afternoon for 540 bucks. SWEET SHOOTIN BOW!! Good luck! Ryan
