Guest kracey
I am looking for a good cut-on-contact broadhead. I would prefer to stay away from the muzzy phantom. But will shoot them if they get good responses on them. I was look at the steel force Venom? but other suggestions would be very helpful. Chrud
Re: Good Cut-on-Contact Broadhead G5 Montec is what I would probably try. Don't know if they still "buzz" when they fly or not.
Guest kracey
Re: Good Cut-on-Contact Broadhead Why would they buzz? Never heard of this with any broadhead.

Chrud
Re: Good Cut-on-Contact Broadhead [ QUOTE ] Why would they buzz? Never heard of this with any broadhead. [/ QUOTE ] I tried some out just to see if they were worth the hype. They made a terrible "buzzing" noise in flight. My Muzzy's are dead silent. Bow Hunter Derek
Re: Good Cut-on-Contact Broadhead I've been shooting the Steelforce Sabertooth heads since they were introduced a few years ago. They fly great and nothing gets up and walks away after it has been shot with one.
maddhunter
Re: Good Cut-on-Contact Broadhead I use the G5 Montecs, I really like them. G5 also makes a machanical called the Tekan, very impressive broadhead. The Tekan is a cut-on-contac broadhead.
ThethirdI
Re: Good Cut-on-Contact Broadhead Satellite Titans 4 blade. Just like the Steelforce Sabertooth...Nothing walks away unless your the one walking away with it.
IowaDeerHunter
Re: Good Cut-on-Contact Broadhead Chrud I shootthe G5's but I never really notice a buzzing noise, but then again I prob. can't hear it. I would go for the montecs, they are great, literally screw on and shoot. I shot 3 deer with them and none of them went over 100 yds. Born4it
Re: Good Cut-on-Contact Broadhead I've heard good things about the Montecs, but one thing I have heard is that if you're taking anything but a broadside shot it tends to glance off Just what I've heard...but I use the 3-blade 100gr. Muzzys. Good luck in your search! Ryan
