Guest kracey
My question is do Mineral Supplements work and if so which ones are the best. I bought 2 bags of Tecomate Horn's-A-Plenty Mineral supplement. Anyone have any info on this product? here is a link to it Horn's-A-Plenty So any of the brands that work for you would be helpful. Also, How do you start a lick? I know your suppose to go to where the deer travel semi-often. But then what? do I put it out and pour a little corn on it or do they just some how find it or what? dogdoc
Re: Mineral Supplements I like to put mine next to a major trail just inside a major food source like a food plot. I also like to put it next to the base of a tree---just gives them some added security. Scrape away all the debris on the ground and dig a small hole. Pour the minerals in the hole and then mix with a little dirt. Putting a little corn around might help them find it a little faster also. good luck todd
