PAhardwoods
My opinon is if the gun condition is good no rust or burrs in the barrle and the action works smooth then its worth the 250 no matter what year or what model it is... WaCoyote
Re: Fair Prices???? Thats the prob with newspapers. sometimes the seller doesn't even know what they're selling. My neighbor picked up a 22-250 with a $500.00 leupold for $350.00 or so. You can waste a lot of time looking at crap, but sometimes you can do very well. AJ
Re: Fair Prices???? If the rifle is a bolt gun, the action alone is worth that. I prefer used to new. Prices are much better, I like the older actions and quality compared to the newer stuff.
Gator
Re: Fair Prices???? Yep, you can stumble on some really good deals in the paper. I bought a 2yr old Win Model 70 featherweight in .270 with a Leupold 2x7 VARIX2 on it for $500.00, the gun alone was worth that much new. It came with a case, a box of ammo with 4 shots gone, and a few targets.
