Under the legal system you are entitled to adequate representation and He was the best at his profession. If i were accused of a serious crime and had themoney i would have called his office in a heartbeat. A sad day for his family, and hopefully they are coping well. He was a race monger (afterall it was HE who introduced the race card against the wishes of the other OJ dream team attorneys). He thrived on race just like Jesse 'the **** child's daddy' Jackson does. He had no interest in ending injustice, because he made a living on it. You may subscribe to the 'he did his job well' theory but I subscribe to a little different code of ethics that says right is right and wrong is wrong. Hiding behind the montre that 'I did my job well' is cowardice IMHO. Under that theory, hit men, porn stars, prostitutes, and slavemasters all could claim 'it was my job'. Modern day juris prudence has turned into 'lie and get your client off at all costs, even if he admits he is guilty, because it is your JOB. When in fact, the role of a defense attorney is to see that his client's rights are not violated....not to lie, make up defenses, buy expert witnesses who are "defense friendly", ensure a "defense friendly" jury, etc. He is the second of the dream team to die....Robert Cardashian [sic?] died of Cancer as well, I believe it was cancer. He was the one with the skunk looking hair that simply looked astonished when the verdict was read. It looked to me like he wanted to yell "are you freaking kidding me?" at the jury. I sort of got the impression that he joined the team, later realized that OJ was guilty, and then secretly hoped OJ would be convicted. The look on his face was priceless! Anyhoo, I wouldn't wish cancer on anyone and I am sorry he died that way. However, IMHO, just another race warlord--who contributed to division among the races for his own benefit--gone off the face of this earth and I say good riddance, Johnny. Not to mention many other cities. Glad they found him innocent, the true judge will get it right. yup race card...he sure did play it. before you's put me in a white robe here, I dont hate anyone, just what some do if they think they are being treated unfair. If you more or less decapitated your exwife (much like the terrorists have been doing) and her friend in front of their home with a knife.....nope. My soul is worth more than that. Don't get me wrong, there are righteous defense attorneys out there that make sure evidence against their client isn't made up, tampered with, witnesses don't lie and change their stories, etc. and I can respect them. My problem is with the attorneys that willingly and knowingly lie, deceive, and especially those who use race to get a client off. I hate it that anyone dies--especially of cancer--but now that he is gone, I am not losing any sleep. But a point to be made, if we were to meet Johnny at a party, we would probably have liked him.
