buckee
Re: another one bites the dust!!!!!!!! I learned a long time ago, not to loan people money. Give it to them if they need it. If it comes back great, if it doesn't ...who cares.
GWSmith
Re: another one bites the dust!!!!!!!! ???????Over $60 He couldnt have started out as much of a friend then in the first place. I axed the first hunting buddy I had up here in New York but that was because he pointed the barrel of the gun I WAS LOANING HIM at me 3 times and I knew it was loaded. You could just consider the $60 Bucks as part of the LEASE fee and accept it that way...just an idea. I trust my life to my hunting buddy...so $60 bucks aint squat! whitetailkiller
Re: another one bites the dust!!!!!!!! my wife is a licensed daycare provider.... so it's a business issue... if he isn't responsible enough to pay for services rendered, i can't trust him with my life!!!!!!! if he comes to us appologizes and pays his debt......we will try again to be hunting buddies, until then i'm looking for a new one!!!!! the bottom line for me is i need to support my wife before i support my hunting buddy considering he is wrong!!!!!! GWSmith
Re: another one bites the dust!!!!!!!! [/ QUOTE ] Now I feel like I can understand your opinion better! I totally agree with you and your stance. The wife will and should always take precedence over anything else....including hunting buddies. I wonder why he thought it would be OK to do that to a friend??? Maybe you should find a way to tell him thats how you feel...."That it was also...Done to You". I can understand about how it makes one feel to be IGNORED ....when it was not you who did anything wrong!!! I bet he could care less when he finds out how mad you are about it too Nothing may happen but you feeling better but at least you have "GONE PUBLIC ON THE JERK". Tominator
Re: another one bites the dust!!!!!!!! [ QUOTE ] He couldnt have started out as much of a friend then in the first place. [/ QUOTE ] That's what I was thinking Gary. Lately with ohiobucks and I, we're mixing and matching money, I don't know if I'm ahead or behind in most cases. Money mixes and matches all the time in a friendship, the friendship is what matters, and if it's worth the effort to keep the friendship, the money doesn't matter. BuckNrut
Re: another one bites the dust!!!!!!!! Maybe the person is too embarrassed that they can't repay. If they are not returning calls try stopping over, or have a trusted 3rd party contact your buddy. As only GW knows, I'd trade you hutting buddies any day, but that would be just too crule. Bottom line, your buddy needs to take some responsibility here. Good luck.
