wtnhunt
Re: gas prices Toyotas get pretty good fuel efficiency, kind of wonder if paying for premium and getting the extra mpgs wouldnt work out about the same.
Shaun_300
Re: gas prices yeah i would think in a toyota, that they just "reccommend" premium fuel for the gas milege. the premium burns slower than regular, but regular is cheaper, i think it all works out about the same i think. it is best to run premium in ANY vehicle, i am an automotive student in college, and the instructors say its best to run the high test in any vehicle if you want to maximize engine life, run a cleaner fuel in your vehicle. but at these prices? ya right... gas is expensive here too. dang near 90 cents/liter up here! David_218
Re: gas prices My Toyota, RAV-4, burns regular unleaded fuel, and gets 25 MPG intown and 30 MPG Highway. The price for a gallon of unleaded regular is at $2.18 per gallon where I live.

snapper
Re: gas prices My wife's old Toyota camry and the new Pontiac Vibe (Toyota) both does great on reg. 87. I've never ran anything higher than 87 in any of my trucks or cars and never had any probs.
