TreeStandBowHunter
Re: Marine Sniper Oh Boy, you must be talking about Carlos Hathcock(sp). Not a bad book. There are alot of good books out there. When your done with that one read, "Flags Of Our Fathers"...written by the Son of the Navy Corpsman who was one of the 6 Flag Raisers on Mt. Suribachi on Iwo Jima.

bulldawg
Re: Marine Sniper I always meant to read Marine Sniper, but never got around to it. TSBH, I got to meet John Bradley. He owned a funeral home in Antigo, Wi. When my Grandma died, he took care of the arrangements back in '73. There was about an hour lull before the service, and my dad told me who he was, and introduced me. The man wouldn't go into great details about the mass killing of his buddies going up Serabachi, but he did have the highest praise for the Marines that went up the hill. I guess in the end, it made it easy for him to become a funeral director. He said death didn't bother him anymore, as he had seen so much of it. He was a great man. Bruce Schmeck
Re: Marine Sniper Both of them are good books. It has been a while since I've read both of them. I think I recently read or heard, that they are going to make "Flags" into a movie. I hope they do right by it.
