Michael Schiavo's Attorney

Ever wonder what type of person would fight for the right of a husband to be allowed to legally kill his wife? Meet George Felos.

Among other things, Felos claims to have used his mental powers to cause a plane he was a passenger on to nearly crash. By simply asking himself, "I wonder what it would be like to die right now?" the plane's autopilot program mysteriously ceased to function and the plane descended into free fall. Felos then observed, "At that instant a clear, distinctly independent and slightly stern voice said to me, 'Be careful what you think. You are more powerful than you realize.' In quick succession I was startled, humbled and blessed by God's admonishment."

Felos believes he used this "supernatural power" in his first "right-to-die" case concerning Estelle Browning. Felos says when he was alone with Browning, who was in a coma at the time, they shared a "soul touch" in which their spirits left their respective bodies and spoke to each other. It was in this encounter that Browning "told" Felos she wanted to die.

In addition to his soul-touch with Estelle Browning, Felos also says he had a pre-conception conversation with his future son, who said, "I'm ready to be born...will you stop this fooling around!"

For the past 25 years, Felos has practiced yoga and meditation as a means to advance his spirituality and career. And while he lectures on "practicing non-attachment," Felos has made a good living along the way attaching sizeable legal fees to his bank account.

Felos describes his spiritual beliefs as syncretistic religion, mixing elements of Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Native American ceremonial practices.

And this is the same man who has described the Schindler family and their supporters as "fanatics."

Re: Michael Schiavo\'s Attorney

Gee, where did you get that info at....Drudge Report...CNN...Fox...Your local news station? Either way, she suffered long enough and she needs to be let go.

Her parents sure are doing a good job getting the sympathy and publicty aren't they!

Hey, did you here about the Marine that was killed today near the Syrian border. I wonder how his parents feel right now...knowing that their son died fighting for our country. Are we going to show his parents on TV, are we going to have Breaking News alerts on CNN.com to shed sympathy for his parents. Wait, matter of fact, it never made the Breaking News now did it mad.gif

[ QUOTE ]

If the Pope turns up in a vegetative state like she is, I would say to go ahead.

[/ QUOTE ]

Looks like the pope is getting a feeding tube. uh oh.

The only terrorists surrounding the case are the ones making death threats against the judge, the husband, the sister-in-law. They are the ones who are not christian in any way.

Re: Michael Schiavo\'s Attorney

thias whole thing has gottren way out of context with the government doing their little jump into the practice of medicine. this should of beena open and closed case but it has now become a crazy whacked out situation that has people jumping on both sides and it is going to get really personal for some.

shiavo's lawyer may be some kind of freak but he is also a very successful lawyer no matter how he presents himself

now the poroblem that people see is they think she is a living congnitive speaking person or they treat her as such and usually they have no background in medicine. those that do seem to grasp the whole situation form a medical standpoint but is the husband telling the truth of her wishes should something of this nature happen. does he have the right to stop her feeding tube? yes he does as her husband no matter what anyone thinks of him it is duty as her husband or ex which ever you wish to look at it and can stop the feedings which has happened and the law is standing by on the first judge who made his judgement and said the tube should be removed which it is now said she is slowly dying. well if you think about it and this is what he has said should of been done years ago but it is now the news of the day and mr shiavo was working on that in the past but waas railroaded from what i see and the eccentric lawyer who si a good lawyer apparently gets the job done. from what i have read and studied on the subject of mrs shiavo she is considered to be in a vegatative state of mind and the damage done those many years ago have caused her to clinically become a non viable person and had told her husband her wishes should anything like this happened to her.

it's a sad state of affairs and a lot of things come to light because of the situation but if hse did say in her words she wouldn't want to be artificially kept aklive then the right thing is being done and who are we to pass jusdgement on that statement. as a medical person who has had to deal with these types of patients they are saying or doing anything cognantive they are moving usually due to erratic electrical impulses due to the brain being dead or the greater part of it is and rhe novice and other things people see in her are just an impulse electrical current that is unable to make a connection witht he rest of the body kind of like a short inthe brain and there is no hope unless god intervenes now and brings her back which i don't think is going to happen because i believe he is waiting for her to come and join him where she should be . just my opinions on this subject

Re: Michael Schiavo\'s Attorney

One of the most ludacrous things I have heard regarding this case is when Dr. Bill Frist of our United States Senate "diagnosed" this woman by watching the same 4 year old video that most Americans watching the same news programs have seen. I am sure glad that the surgeon I saw a couple weeks ago didn't have me send him a video of what I was going through a couple weeks ago, heck , I'd probably be dead by now of a fever and gone septic from an infection I had.

Re: Michael Schiavo\'s Attorney

I guess the reason I posted this was to illustrate the type of people that seem to be on the side of letting her die.

First the husband, who's fathered children out of wedlock while still married to someone else, refuses to divorce that someone else, and who did not relay that someone else's supposed wish to be allowed to die until 7 years later when he met and started seeing his current girlfriend.

Second, you've got the doctor who's a big advocate for euthanasia and assisted suicide and who has made his diagnosis of PVS without the benefit of all of the available diagnostic tools.

Then you've got the lawyer that communicates with comatose women through some sort of "vision" and thinks he can cause planes to crash with his mind!

You put all of those together and I just don't get a warm fuzzy feeling about their intentions toward Terri.
