RangerClay
I just heard news that the Holy Father Pope John Paul II is failing fast. In case anyone is feeling the hurt that I feel, I have created a post so you too can send your prayers. I would like to request that this post not turn into a religious discussion or argument. This is an opportunity express ones prayers and or condolences. Thank you. Ranger

AaronS
Re: Prayers for the Pope [ QUOTE ] I would like to request that this post not turn into a religious discussion or argument. Whether a person agrees with his religion or not, everyone should be able to agree that he was a good man. He tried mending a lot of burned bridges during his time as Pope. My prayers are sent. Texan_Til_I_Die
Re: Prayers for the Pope I believe he's either 83 or 84. I'm not Catholic either, but I think Pope John Paul II has been a wonderful inspiration to all Christians. GOD BLESS HIM FOR ALL OF THE GOOD THINGS HE'S DONE

slugshooter
Re: Prayers for the Pope Yeah, was on MSNBC earlier and they said the death rumors were just that, rumors, BUT, the Pope's health is fading fast and last I read they won't move him to the hospital because they don't think he can make the trip and they believe he is nearing the end. He is a good man, almost said 'was' like he is already gone and was a very pious man IMO.
markyj987
Re: Prayers for the Pope My prayers are certainly with Pope John Paul II. The one thing that I keep hearing about him is that he is a man who has "walked the walk." Though I am not a Catholic, the way this man lived his life--helped spread Christianity throughout Africa, helped to heal wounds between Christians and Jews, and many other things--is absolutely remarkable. TreeStandBowHunter
Re: Prayers for the Pope Well earlier I said that I don't really know much about the man because I am not catholic. I did some research (a little) since and it sounds like he was good to go in certain ways I guess...I still don't really know much about him. I just hope he don't suffer too long. He lived a long life
