Guest Patrick_White
Re: T/C OMEGA? What can I say? It's the best blackpowder muzzleloading Inline rifle out there as long as all your wanting is a muzzleloader. It's easy to clean, accurate, and not overly long for the barrel lenght. The only improvements I can suggest are a sims recoil pad and a PowerRod. I'm also going to get a 25 ACP breech plug for mine and see how much it improves the rifle. SuperMn106
Re: T/C OMEGA? yeah thats all i am looking for is a muzzeloader. i thought about the encore but i really dont need it cuz i would never use a rifle cuz i dont have a use for it and i already have my shotgun. does the recoil pads help a lot? and what does the power rod and breech plug do? i am new to muzzeloading so i dont really know that much about it. thanks mike

It's a definite shoulder saver. On the Powerrod, heres a couple links for you: http://www.xssights.com/catblack.html http://www.angelfire.com/mech/wolfhound/pages/reviews/powerrod.html The breach plug on the other hand is an extra improvement. It uses 25 ACP primed brass as the primer. This has the effect of completly sealing the action. I've also read that it reduces the crud ring with triple seven. http://www.prbullet.com/hornet.htm

robk
Re: T/C OMEGA? if i didn't have my encore i would definately go for the omega. it is a nice gun but since i use both barrels my 25-06 and my 50 cal it makes it easier to just change them out and enjoy the same crisp trigger rob k

Guest ronin
Re: T/C OMEGA? Love it and recommend it. As mentioned by another...get a recoil pad ASAP, especially if your going the 150 gr route. If you feel like roughing it...prepare for bruising.
