Now there's one nobody predicted....GOOD for Kevin and the #29 team....CONGRATS. Too bad Jeff Gordon had late car trouble, but atleast he finished on the lead lap.... Chrud
Re: Harvick wins Bristol!!!!! WWWWOOOOOOOO! Back in Victory Lane for RCR and Happy Harvick! So close again, I fell one position from predicting this week too. Hate to break it to you Luke, but the 24 was 2 laps down.
spyderpancake
Re: Harvick wins Bristol!!!!! YES!!!Man, he drove a great race. A great day for RCR. And I almost picked him for my wild card. And Junior had a great day too, I don't think either of them had a scratch on their call. Also caongrats to Kyle Petty for his first top 10 in 3 years. Hillbilly
Re: Harvick wins Bristol!!!!! Can we all say Intense. Wow a lot of wrecks there at Bristol. Great Job for #29 Harvick and the GoodWrench Team. JJ isn't a popular guy anymore. Ward pointed his finger at him. It was JJ's fault, but like Ward said he didn't do it on purpose. That's Bristol Bumper to Bumper racing for ya.
spyderpancake
Re: Harvick wins Bristol!!!!! Um, it was Jeff, not Ward. I thought he had a good attitude about it. You gotta love the quote"Jimmie is a great driver, he didn't do it on purpose. But he is better than that. I won't put up with much of that." Nobody can say that that race was boring! I don't know if I can stand two short tracks in a row!

Chrud
Re: Harvick wins Bristol!!!!! *Jeff* I hope Burton knocks JJ around at Martinsville. That was uncalled for. I love it though. JJ wrecks Burton and Busch gets involved. Then Mikey runs JJ into the wall and did you see Chad's reaction?! He was mad! But hey buddy, what goes around comes around. JJ lost all my respect a while ago, and that ain't no way to get it back. Did you notice Dale Jr got a top-5 and jumped 9 positions up to 17th in points. Just like that *snap*, he's right back in the hunt.
spyderpancake
Re: Harvick wins Bristol!!!!! RCR probably would have had 2 cars in the top 10 if that hadn't happened. He flat got took out.
snapper
Re: Harvick wins Bristol!!!!! Yep and Blaney was running well until he got caught up in a wreck. Good job for the #29 team...goes to show that quailifing isn't that important. That moved Harvick back up in the points (I believe 5th). Hillbilly
Re: Harvick wins Bristol!!!!! yeah JJ's wreck with Jeff was a bad thing, but it wasn't on purpose and even Jeff pointed it out. But they all walked out on both legs,
Guest deldeer
Re: Harvick wins Bristol!!!!! short-track racing at its finest!!!!!! ......good job on the 29 team, last to first......just a racing deal between 48 & 31, rub'n is racin !!!!!!!... spyderpancake
Re: Harvick wins Bristol!!!!! would it have been just a racin deal if it would have been the other way around? that looked avoidable. I'm not tryin to start anything, i just feel sorry for Burton. he had a giid run going.

Guest deldeer
Re: Harvick wins Bristol!!!!! well i feel sorry for johnson, he had a good run going..... till waltrip got into him....seems like johnson aint going to get a break on here.....johnson had a good run going at the time, he dove to the inside, ( of a lap car ), & he started to wash back up the track....it's part of the short track deal. you don't really think he did that on purpose do you ????????? burton did'nt
Chrud
Re: Harvick wins Bristol!!!!! See...there you go. It was a "rubbin' is racin'" type deal to you when Johnson spun Burton out. But when Waltrip put him in the wall, that was a bad deal. Bobby Jr took credit for causing that big wreck. The least JJ could do is take credit (for once) for wrecking someone. I have yet to hear him take credit for causing any wrecks in his 3 previous years.

[/ QUOTE ] There is no other spin to be put on it.... it's just racing when JJ gets into someone, but when someone gets into JJ it's either "being dumped", or "put in the wall"...You can't have it both ways!!!! Chrud
Re: Harvick wins Bristol!!!!! Listening to JB's interview on SPEED News, he was really ticked at JJ. But, I'm sure that wreck wasn't his fault. I sure hope he gets whats coming to him at Martinsville.
Chrud
Re: Harvick wins Bristol!!!!! [ QUOTE ] because you don't want to hear him thats why :crazy [/ QUOTE ] Because he never admits it's his fault. He took out two cars that were contenders throughout the day. He was being impatient at a time when he shouldn't have been. Bobby Jr gained a lot of my respect for taking blame for that big wreck. I highly doubt JJ would take credit for taking out those two cars. But I'm sure he'd have a lot to say about Waltrip "rubbin'" him into the wall. MUDRUNNER
Re: Harvick wins Bristol!!!!! Gotta love Bristol! It's good to see Harvick and RCR in victory lane again.I would like to Jeff Burton catch a brake and win again. As far as the JJ and JB incedent,it was definately JJ's fault, but that's just typical hard Bristol racing. It was nice to see Mikee get a little aggressive and give him a little rub.To bad he cut a tire in the progress.
