TreeWalker
....I know guys....I haven't been posting in hear a lot lately, but to be honest I haven't had much to talk about when it comes to Comp archery.......I just haven't been getting to many shoots......I've hit some #d tourneys and have been shooting well, but just fallin those few critical points short of placing at any of them......... But this weekend was our State Indoor...both 3D and Spots..........3D once again found me shooting pretty good, but dropping some seamable chip shots down into the 10 ring.....cost me big.......but the weekend wasn't a total loss..... When it came to spots, it was a different ball game........I've always been a 294-296 shooter.....every a great once in a while i could post a 298...............but this was different......see, I haven't even had a chance to shoot any spot rounds at all until this tournament................. Yesterday I shot my first 300 of the year, and first half of my 600 round I posted a 298/43X............second 300 and second half of my 600 was today and I shot a personal best 299 !!!! Though I only managed 38x's this time i was stoked cause I know with total confidence that I can now attain that first of many 300's......I have a renewed anxiousness to do better at spots......I "want" to practice more...to become more consistant in my shot and my concentration.........gotta get'r'dun
