Chrud
A major thumbs-up to NASCAR for penalties in the Busch race. Johnny Sauter got a couple lap penalty for wrecking a couple cars. And Martin Truex Jr got a lap penalty for intentionally wrecking Geoff Bodine. Two drivers, same "problems", same penalties. Great job NASCAR! So, how's that for MY bias. I'm a huge fan of Truex and have no problem with him getting penalized for what he did. It was a blantant retalation and a penalty was deserving. So, I guess I can't be accused for bias for my NASCAR rule making, huh.

MUDRUNNER
Re: Thumbs-Up to NASCAR...Penalty Consistencies I don't think Johnson intentionally wrecked anybody. He slid up the track coming off the corner and tagged Burton. He should have been more patient, but that was typical Bristol racing. You can't fine someone for racing hard.I didn't get to see the Busch race, but it sounds like Sauter and Truex's wrecks were pretty intentional.I'll have to see what they show on SPEED tonight. MichiganHuntr1
Re: Thumbs-Up to NASCAR...Penalty Consistencies Who says your biased Matt? Besides when were talking about Jimmie Johnson, youre probably one of the least biased here. Thats good for Nascar. They need to establish something when it comes to fines-balances. Chrud
Re: Thumbs-Up to NASCAR...Penalty Consistencies [ QUOTE ] they should fine johnson for it..... [/ QUOTE ] No, but he could have admitted that it was uncalled for and he was at fault. I kept being accused of making my big penalty suggestions because it was Hendrick at fault. Just showing that wasn't the reason.

James7xChamp3
Re: Thumbs-Up to NASCAR...Penalty Consistencies Yep, have to agree with the penalties. I would've added Hmiel to it also. As far as JJ is concerned that was just a racing incident. Although to put it in in JJ's words it would be something that only an "idiot" would do.
