Orion_70
Well, after many years just shooting my recurve, I finally broke down and bought a compound bow. I'm rigging it out and trying to decide which carbon arrows to shoot or just stick with aluminums, with the hard cam I have to buy new arrows anyway. Anyone have a preference between the carbons? Leaning toward the carbon express shafts and fletch them out with some feathers
Chrud
Re: Which Carbon arrows? I like Gold Tip myself. I shoot GT Pro Hunters. An unbelieveably consistent arrow at a great price. Here is a link to a spine test on them on the Mathews Forums. Just proving how great quality these arrows are. http://forums.mathewsinc.com/bulletinboards/snitz/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=10058 The GT Pro's are far less than the Easton ACC (considered one of the most consistent arrows available) and has tighter tolerances than the ACC. I spend a lot of money on my bow and bow setup. I also send the best arrows out of it that I can. I love the GT Pro's tolerances and excellent price. Guest kracey
Re: Which Carbon arrows? I dont like the Gold Tips myself. Most people on here like them for the price and I guess they are good for the price you pay for them. I perfer the PSE Radial X-Weave arrows. I have found them to be pretty superior to others. They are very strong and reliable arrows. I would look into these arrows.
AdvantageTimberLou
Re: Which Carbon arrows? Easton C2's are pretty good! I'm impressed with them and their priced reasonably. I seen Dick's had some 400's for $34.97 for 6 in Realtree HD Green and $19.97 if you wanted them in Mossy Oak. Easton makes a great arrow. Chrud
Re: Which Carbon arrows? I thought about trying ACC's a couple years ago. When I heard that they can bend, that turned me right off. I wouldn't pay that kind of money for something that can bend. But, a lot of people do like them.
VTbowman
Re: Which Carbon arrows? GoldTip XT5575's are my choice for compound hunting arrows. Not to expensive and real tough. I bought some CarbonExpress Terminator 40-60s last year for my recurve and have been real happy with them. I also have had Bemans, but I feel the GT's are a bit tougher when you hit things other then vitals. Like dirt and rocks...

craig mack
Re: Which Carbon arrows? [ QUOTE ] goldtip's are 2nd to none in my eyes . i shoot every night at work , lastnight i had a passthrough and my arrow hit a steel dumpster all it did to my shaft was knock out my nock , if it would have been anyother arrow it wouldve been history , i also tripped the trigger early and shot the same dumpster when i was drawing back and same as above , just knocked out the nock . i swear these arrows are indestructible [/ QUOTE ] You must really hate that dumpster!!! joking
