Missed160
For those you who will be going after turkey with a bow, what will you be shooting for broadhead? I am really debating what to use. I shoot Rocky Mountain fixed blades, and am wondering if I should use those, or buy an expandable with a larger cut? For turkeys I would use the 125 gr Premier which has a 1.4 in cut. Archey Experts has Rocket Hammerheads on sale for $9.99. 2 in cut. What are you guys shooting? Also, I read somewhere about dulling the tips to reduce penetration, anyone do that? pointing_dogs_rule
Re: Archery Set-ups I shoot rocket hammerheads, expandable, that have a 3 or 4 inch cutting diameter (can not remember right off hand). They do alot of damage, which is good. 1 1/4 inch cut seems minimal for a turkey. Just my opinion. the dog

Bow Hunter Derek
Re: Archery Set-ups The NAP turkey heads will be on the ends of my arrows this year. I've heard nothing but good things about the Rocket heads for turkeys.
