huntinsonovagun
How do you delete games that you have downloaded to play, but then got tired of them? I went to "My Computer" and the "Add/Remove programs" but it is not there. When I right-click on the item and go down to delete, it says it will only delete the shortcut, not the whole file.....so how do I get rid of this thing?!?! Thanks!! wtnhunt
Re: Deleting downloaded games Usually the add/remove is where most programs can be deleted. You might have to find the files on your drive and delete them that way.
Jeramie
Re: Deleting downloaded games Before you go delete everything manually (which is fine as long as you know what you're deleting) check in the "Start" menu. Sometimes there is an "Uninstall" button under the name of the game. If there isn't then do as the others suggested and delete it manually. Sometimes the name of the folder will be different then you expect so right click the shortcut and go to properties. It will usually give you the path. wtnhunt
Re: Deleting downloaded games So long as everything else is running fine with them in the recycle bin it should be fine to get rid of them.
Jeramie
Re: Deleting downloaded games Yep, I agree but make sure your machine is running ok before you totally wipe it clean. Some games share .dll files and such and may cause another program not to run. Honestly its rare and usually the games are produced by the same company.
