Please pray for my friend....

I found out early this morning that my friend Blaine wrecked his motorcycle last night while riding with a few other friends of mine. He's been riding for a few years now and had JUST traded his old crotch rocket in for a brand new one, so he was out riding around trying to break it in.

The story I've been getting is that Blaine was going between 50-55mph on a straight stretch and when he came to a curve, he didn't even try to make the cut....... just went straight. When his bike went off the road, it flung him onto the ground and over a hill into a creek where the bike then fell on top of him. They had to airlift him to a hospital in Charleston.

Found out a little while ago that he has 2 contusions on his brain, broke his leg, nose, a few ribs, and jaw, knocked out a few teeth..... and who knows what else. frown.gif Last I heard, he's going in and out of consciousness. There's talk that even if he comes out of this, then he'll be paralyzed. frown.giffrown.gif

Blaine hasn't even been married for a year...... and has a baby that's not even a year old yet. Ugh. Just sickening that something like this would happen. I can't even begin to imagine what his wife and family are going through at the moment.

Anyhow, I'm asking for your prayers to help him through this! I've said this many times before but I'll say it again.

The power of prayer is an amazing thing!

Thanks so much for just taking the time to read this.. it really means a lot.

Re: Please pray for my friend....

I just went through this with my team Sgt last Dec. He hit a van and totled the van with his bike. Broke his thum, shoulder, ribs and neck. Hi is still having problems with his breathing (right lung not working right, something about his nerves) He was sent to CMAC, that is a great place, is that ware they sent your friend? If so, PM me his name and I will try to get down to see him, I am only about 15 min from there and have to go out by the airport in the morning and be going right by there. If you can tell him that I will be in uniform, we are going to talk to the high school JRTC about the Special Forces.

Will keep you, him and his family in our prayers.
