EKYhunter
Fellow Turkey Hunters, I saw an article in a Bowhunt America Magazine in which the author took the fan from a gobbler he'd killed and attached it to a jake decoy. He ran a string through a grommet on the decoy's back and attached it to the fan. This allowed the fan to be raised or lowered as if the bird was popping in and out of strut! The article said this was very effective and would even lure in hens (This would be good if a gobbler was in tow!) I want to make one of these and I have a few fans from birds I've killed but I can't seem to think of a good way to attach the fan to the decoy. Any suggestions? I'm lookin' for ideas!
