hutchies
Re: Cheap and easy [ QUOTE ] MRE's!!! [/ QUOTE ] LOL!!!!!!!!!! Premade hamburgers. Just throw them on the fire and whala you got burgers in about 5 minutes. Can't go wrong with hot dogs either. I get blamed for overcooking when I am out camping. Last time we went to the sand dunes for a few days to ride our quads the first night we ate steak, fire baked potatoes, corn. Second night Grilled chicken, potatoes and all the fixings. By day three I thought we better eat regular food because the other campers were starting to look at us like they were going to come over and beat us down and take dinner. fisherguy
Re: Cheap and easy Ok, you take canned corned beef, chopped up onion, and brown beans. Mix it all up and heat it. It looks gross, but tastes good and is fast.

borch
Re: Cheap and easy I like making up some season buegers with minced onion mixed in and vacumm seal them. Then I just throw them in a burger/fish basket andcook them over the fire. Way better than hotdogs! Salmon steaks(Cheap if you have somein the freezer) also work great in the basket over the fire for a change of pace. They hardly take any time to cook either.
