Re: CSI

I try to catch that show whenever I think of it. Thats a job that I could never do. I don't think I would be very effective at it, because I would be constantly contaminating the crime scene with barf! Plus, I probably would get hurt a lot because of all the passing out. grin.gif

Re: CSI

[ QUOTE ]

We have it over here, it is good.

I have heard of a problem caused by the show and I wonder if anyone knows if it is true? It's called the CSI Syndrome and happens to Jurors who have watched the show and then expect the same hi-tech ways of solving crimes to be ready available to them in real life. But what happens is in fact very few states actually have all the resources to do what they do on CSI and so Jurors get annoyed and are also "trained" by the show about names and sertain clever ways to solve crimes but in fact these can't be done?

[/ QUOTE ]

I am on Jury duty this month and one of the first things they asked when they sit up on the jury is "Do you watch CSI or Law and Order?" Of course most of the people said yes and the District attorney Said you all know that is not how the system really works don't you. So I am sure some idiots do believe that is how life is.
