buckee Posted April 9, 2005 Report Share Posted April 9, 2005 One suggestion I can give, from hog hunting myself and watching a few videos on the critters, is to try to position yourself beside or at least near a tree. You never know when or if you may have to get it between you and the hog for protection, before or after the shot. They aren't as dumb or as blind as some may think. They are bold though. Hit them right be hide the rib making the arrows do up through the body of the hog hitting all VItals! If you shoot one broadside, they had a plate of FAT and its hard to penatrate!
