HHHHMMMMMMMM i wonder could it be that maybe pse does have a better warranty ? i dont know yall be the judge of that 1 . its called K.I.S.S which stands for KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID ! just about every 1 in here has jumped to conclusions on me , saying im not happy with my bow and that im all defensive , naw im just tired of hearing all the mathews bull crap period! mathews are not the bow gods. as far as me not being happy with my choice of bows or brand you are way off target , i was shootin outside right before dark and was putting arrows inside of dimes from 20yds. out with my PSE XCELLERATOR , now can you mathews boys do that ? here let me explain to you how to do , so you understand and can maybe try it someday . 1st you take a dime and trace it on your target ( i use a bunch of carboard pieces about 12"by 24" bind them together using a poly strap at each end . then you back off 20 yds. , then you use your 20 yd. sight pin , and finally you shoot , it really isnt hard unless you and your bow arent capable of such a feat , but oh im sorry i forgot that the bow gods (mathews ) will guide you through it with grace (yeah right!) so when you can do this then you come back and talk smack to me , till then just sit there and keep telling yourself that you made the right decision and maybe one day you will believe it to be true . Guest antlers21
Re: high end bows I honestly cant wait to get my switchback, the one I shot in the pro shop was silky smooth. Stuff like that is just things we share with others on this site. You probably should of said in you post how you loved your excellerator but and other people would have probably asked questions about your bow and made other comments. Instead you had to tell all of us how you are so sick of a lot of people talking about there mathews well for me and a lot of people it is like christmas when you were little. **** I can not wait to get my switchback this week and I will tell whoever I want that. And as far as your shooting abilities go you can tell us that you shoot flies off of a horses butt at 40 yards and we will still say fine shooting. Stop being so angry, this site is for people to talk about lots of things and if you dont like some of the things we talk about dont read the posts. It is not hard to see unless you are blinded by ignorance.

[/ QUOTE ] Thats funny! I'm rolling on the floor here! I've never seen someone go off because Mathews has a warranty that doesn't transfer. I'll tell you why I bought a Switchback. I've never felt a bow near as good as it in my hands. I've shot all kinds, a Hoyt XTEC, AR31, PSE Thunderbolt, PSE Triton and a few others. To me, the Switchback and Outback are in a league of their own. The Hoyt was awesome too, but I didn't care for the wall or the noticeable forward jump. The AR had way too much hand shock. It was my buddy's and he said I just had to shoot it. Both PSE's were an adventure. The Thunderbolt is really old, but not bad for a 99's technology. My brother's Triton is a bear to draw and sounds like a .22 going off. Both the Switchback and Outback were dead silent with no accessories, no hand shock, no forward jump, unbelieveably smooth when drawing and an absolute dream to shoot. How did you go from complaining about their warranty to shooting dimes at 20 yards? I've never seen anyone get so upset with a warranty. I think that is funny! Forgot....I can hit dimes at 20 yards and quarters at 30 yards. My bow of choice is Mathews, firing Gold Tip Pro Hunters. Hehehe! I mean no harm. Orion_70
Re: high end bows Ehhh, I shoot a Parker, well I will be, I just bought it. Before that I shot a Hoyt and always a Recurve. No compound will ever be as quiet as a recurve or long bow and they all kill deer just as dead. Shoot what's fun and feels good. I personally could care less about brand, it's all about being out there, enjoying ourselves and being proficient with whatever we choose to shoot, after all in the end it only matters that we make a clean shot and an ethical kill. TreeWalker
Re: high end bows I will keep my reply short and sweet.......shoot what the heck you want and worry about that....... I shoot Mathews pretty much exclusively......but I have shot many others like HC, Martin, Hoyt, etc..... Mathews is a better bow for me.....and could care less about the warranty, I haven't needed one.....

Guest tunkhannockbowhunter
Re: high end bows i shoot reflex bows because i like them. but as far as the warranty thing goes i advise all of you to become good friends with the owner at your local archery shop because they can pull strings with the salesmen that they do business with. i had a cracked limb in a reflex that was out of warranty but my "friend" was able to talk to a rep at reflex and get me them for free and from what i understand most archery shops that have a good reputation could do the same thing. tedicast
Re: high end bows [ QUOTE ] i know all ive ever read in here is mathews and hoyt bows are so good and pse sux [/ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] i have come to this conclusion , its ok to talk good about mathews and hoyts here and talk negative about pse [/ QUOTE ] Dude...you are so far off base here. Show me where all anyone does is bash PSE. There are a bunch of PSE shooters here, and I honestly cannot recall any of them being bashed for shooting what they like. You really need to get over it. In your opinion you shoot a superior bow. That great. Just shoot it and enjoy. Why are you so worried about what anyone else thinks anyway? If you don't like reading about Mathews or Hoyt, or BowTech bows, don't read the threads about them. It's not that hard to just ignore a thread. People like to talk about the bows they shoot, Yes, it does seem that there are a lot of Mathews/Hoyt shooters her, so of course there is gonna be a lot of talk about them. I still don't see all this PSE bashing that you are talking about.
TreeWalker
Re: high end bows [ QUOTE ] look im sorry that i ever put a post up in here , it wont happen again . all i was trying to say is ............ [/ QUOTE ] Don't feel sorry for posting anything, how is common ground ever reached without a debate or difference of opinion ?? And the reason everyone is riding this post into submission, is cause you stated you point not just once.....not twice....but at least three times.........you made your point, I think we got it. Unfortunately this whole topic has been covered more times than the Michael Jackson trial.........hence the "beating of the dead horse"...... We all shoot certain and different equipment for our own particular reasons......sometimes they may not make sense, but they don't need to.........as long as that person is happy, I'm happy

bigblueraptor
Re: high end bows every company has their version of a high end bow but the topic doesnt make sense you need to compare bow to bow then compare warranty to warranty imo the warranty doesnt make the bow any better it makes the company better
