JimT Posted April 10, 2005 Report Share Posted April 10, 2005 I have an 01 Honda Rancher 350 2x4. It is perfect for what I need. Mudding does not interest me whatsoever, so I did not need 4X4. I use it to go fishing and to put out treestands. Other than that I just mainly take my kids for little rides with it. It has been a great machine. I like it alot. Paid $4300.00 for it new. I do not have a winch on it, but there is one spot I hunt that can get nasty if it rains. I have yet to get stuck there, but I do bring my come-a-long when I hunt that spot. Guest outdoorgirl Posted April 10, 2005 Report Share Posted April 10, 2005 Re: quads! we have 2 ... yamaha big bear 350 no winch but with a snow plow ....i have a 01 suzuski 500 king quad master auto with a big seat and pegs and a box in the front for the dog....my dog loves the quad....soon as i start it...she's in her box ready to go to the woods !! ...i highly recommend having a seat put on.....nice storage plus you ride like a king in the seat...it's great for two people. I added the 2 wheel drive option along with a locking differential to mine and this thing is a blast in 2 wheel drive. In 4 wheel drive it will pull stumps.
