[/ QUOTE ] Must be close, the ottawa river has absolutely no ice left and teh small lakes are open. GUess there is still lots of ice and snow up home but it is melting fast. [/ QUOTE ] yup, its getting close, Golden Lake (the lake i fish on) is still frozen, but mom said it is looking pretty shaky. last year it opened on April 17th, so i am sure it will be opening up soon!
