fisherguy
Looks like the bloq may force a vote for spring or early summer. I really hope not until after the Inquiry is done because there is more testimony to hurt the Liberals. Now i want to see how equal the treatment is. This large scale fraud, with supporting evidence should land some Liberals in jail...bet nothing comes of it though.
buckee
Re: Election soon? Yeah, I'd like to see that inquirey move forward too. Sure would be nice to see them de-throned while they're still on it
fisherguy
Re: Election soon? Unfortunately Sadam could escape custody, move to Canada, and as long as he ran as a Liberal he would be elected Prime Minister. Sad fact too many people refuse to vote for anyone else regardless of the level of corruption.

buckee
Re: Election soon? Your right. At the present time there is no one to vote for, IMO.

Guest BCBOY
Re: Election soon? My vote goes to any one that will scrap the gun registry the first day in office. The West will keep on getting screwed because the East won't get off the pot and make the decision against the CROOKS in power. Why we even vote out here who knows. The election is over long before our votes are even counted.
sureshot
Re: Election soon? the conservatives!! sure mulrony did alot of stuff that was not great but not near what the liberals did! under mulrony rule at least we had a heck of alot better echonomy, we had a military, [tried to but the choppers that the pansie liberals threw away and in the long run killed 20 some canadians becouse of the old ones] we were respected around the world not a laughing joke we are now becouse of the "scared" peopel the liberals are, we had no gun laws grain prices were better, cattle prices great, our lumber was sellign good, now all gone to the dogs couse the liberal goverment has a big mouth and ticked off other countries, all I know if the liberals never got in this country would be a whole lot better, also i think that if the ndp get in it will not be much better than the liberals! Guest BeerSlayer1
Re: Election soon? It's gotta be the Conservatives. They promised to scrap the gun registry and offered a big tax reduction in the last election. Obviously Ottawa is getting more of our tax dollars than they can waste right now. Guest BeerSlayer1
Re: Election soon? Gee, where have I heard this drivel before? [ QUOTE ] Manning and Harris are already on the Conservative pay roll and selling the privatization of the Health Care Plan. Harper may only be publically pointing his finger at the Libs and the Sponsorship blunder so no one will notice his dark horse move to shaft John Q. Pubic with his control of our social net issues. TBow [/ QUOTE ] This sounds like the MediSCARE tactics that the NDP always use to get reelected here in Saskatchewan. They scare the old people and welfare collecters into thinking that if any other party but them gets in, the sky will fall and everyone will be out on the street. It's amazing people still fall for it. Nobody's going to get shafted by changing the government except the crooked ***** politicians who have been stealing MY tax dollars for way too long. fisherguy
Re: Election soon? Well since i opened this up(didn't mean to start a big debate though i should have predicted it) i better chime in. This is how i see it, NDP...ultra socialists who IMO take the cake for the least fiscally responsible party hands down. Too left on many social issues, and too spend happy for my liking. Liberals...well a short summary, Chretien should be in jail for fraud, the gun registry, helicopter, sponsorship, and other fiascos have pretty much made me think they have been in power too long and are too happy cheating Canadians out of money. Now i do think Martin is a lot better than Chretien, but he was his finance minister and if he says he had no idea about this stuff he is either lying or incompetent IMO. I think Martin has great leadership qualities but since he refuses to clean up past Liberal messes i could never vote for him. Conservatives...on his own as leater of the Alliance Harper was a bit scary for my liking. With the merger he has had to mellow a bit, and there are enough moderates in the party to keep him in line. Based on the gun registry and other monetary and rights disasters I think Harper deserves a chance to prove if he is all talk, of is going to follow through. One party in power this long is never good regardless of which party it is. IMO the liberals have proven that too much power has let to ignoring voters wishes, and rampant corruption. Would the Conservatives be perfect? I guarantee not, but Ithink they deserve a chance to show us if they can out do the liberals. On the healthcare issue, something has to be done. Look at the demographics of Canada and there is no way the system is sustainable as is.(unless income tax goes up to about 75%). Solution? Not a clue, but trying to maintain the status quo can't work so some new options need to be given a hard look.
