spyderpancake
What is up with the tires this year? I know they went to a softer compound for better racing, but this is getting rediculous, i think at least half the field blew a tire yesterday, and it was just as bad last week. Somebody is gonna get hurt if they keep on like this.

VABuckSlayer
Re: Goodyear tires They just haven't gotton use to the softer tire yet. These guys are running with too much camber. I don't think the tires are the problem the crews just have to adjust there setups to them. Not everyone is having tire problems. JMO! Chrud
Re: Goodyear tires As many different drivers have had each week, I'd say it's a tire issue.
snapper
Re: Goodyear tires I agree that its the set-up. There are far more cars on the track, NOT having tire probs. than the ones that are. The crew chiefs want to run as little air pressure and the most camber they can get away with...prob. is, some of them push it too far. Chrud
Re: Goodyear tires I think the question at hand here should be.... Why did Tony Stewart try a tricycle out during the race yesterday?
Guest deldeer
Re: Goodyear tires i have to agree with everyone here, it is a combo of low air, too much camber, & a softer tire (junk). & i believe steward lost the hole wheel, which can happen when they run too many spacers, or loose lugs.
