Re: Buying a new Harley

Better yet, pay a friend $50 to drag you behind their truck down a paved road and save the rest for the medical bills! laugh.gif I trust the motorcycles, just not the riders or other drivers. Lost one too many friends to riding.

But be that as it may, I think I would prefer something like an OCC or Jesse James custom chopper with a custom paint job over a Harley. JMO

I think it would be cool to have a tank that...instead of painting flames on it...would have raised, chrome flames on it.

Good luck with your decision and be safe.

Re: Buying a new Harley

ZooBear, you're talking almost about two different horses here.

You need to ask yourself what kind of riding you will be doing, before you decide.

If you plan to ride local, the cruiser, or Springer Softtail Classic would be a good ride.

If you want to do a little touring, and stay in the saddle form tank-full to fill-up, I'd choose the more comfortable ride of the Roadking Classic.

If you plan to ride two-up, you need to think of the comfort of your passenger as well.

It will be your choice, your payments, and your insurance.

I think that you will have to be the one to decide what is best for your own service.
