dogdoc
My daughter's preschool is spending 2 weeks (4 actual days) on the letter D. So today at preschool they had Donuts with Daddy. All the dad's were invited for a 30 minute breakfast of Krispy Kremes and OJ. I had so much fun just spending time with my daughter in her class. The kids had drawn a picture for their dad and we all enjoyed the food. When it was over all the kids had formed a line to go to art class and the dads said their goodbyes and headed to the exit to go to work. As the kids were walking to art class I hear my daughter happily screaming "Daddy"---then i see my little girl leave the line--run to me and jump in my arms and tell me "Daddy--thanks for coming--I love you so much" Tears filled my eyes as I walked back to my truck. There is nothing like the love of a child---that has to be the way God love's us. That must be why a child's love is talked about in the Bible. todd

GWSmith
Re: Donuts with Daddy..... I just PM'ed him with a short story about how I remember the exact sound that my daughters "Jammy's with feet" made on the kitchen floor when she used to run to the door that I would enter the house from.....my daughter is 13 now and I swear I could still pick that sound out of a million different ones. Todd...It is never ending and distance or time does not make it go away....my Daughter lives in Florida and I have 2 Sons who live in Kentucky. RangerClay
Re: Donuts with Daddy..... This past saturday I harvested a doe for some camp meat. I radioed my buddies to tell them the news that I had a deer down. All of sudden I hear on the radio "Good shot Daddy". Once I dragged the deer in my wife asked me why I didn't respond. I told her I couldn't, I was crying. I know EXACTLY how you feel! Ranger

I can't wait to have a couple of my own. I just hope, for their sake, they are boys!
