c_lou
Before I call the DNR, I printed out DogDoc's recipe for the Whitetail Mineral Supplements and need to know if this type of mixture is legal to put out in Wisconsin. Or is it considered baiting? Thanks all.
bulldawg
Re: Question for the Wisconsin Hunters I know mineral blocks are illegal in non-baiting areas, but I'm not sure about this. It's probably not legal, but I would check it out.
Guest BaerBucks18
Re: Question for the Wisconsin Hunters I put quite a few mineral blocks out last year. I think that the only requirement is that you cant have more than 1 block within 100 yards of eachother.

billygoat
Re: Question for the Wisconsin Hunters The whole baiting issue is really confusing, especially considering how the DNR has broken the state up. Best bet is to give them a call (make sure you talk to someone in your area).
Guest Finn
Re: Question for the Wisconsin Hunters Confusing as heck. We put out a few mineral licks, but don't hunt anywhere near them.
c_lou
Re: Question for the Wisconsin Hunters [ QUOTE ] It is considered a supplement/vitamin. It isn't illegal to use. Besides it is something that can soak into the soil. [/ QUOTE ] That was my impression as well. I am in the legal baiting zone. But I figured it wasn't baiting just supplementing. Thanks all for the replys. Off to the store I go.
Strut_Buster
Re: Question for the Wisconsin Hunters I don't bait but If.. you I were to play devils advocate. The chances of them finding out about it are pretty slim to none. I would tell you to check with you DNR office first and find out. Since i like to follow the law i wouldn't do it if it wasn't legal in your area.
