We have water all around our property with an old winding river channel, and the deer really do not have any patterns for watering, but I do have a setup at a preferred crossing that has been pretty productive over the years. One of the best places I ever hunted was a little tile dumping out into a hole like you descrbed.There was a big pocket of evergreens behind it the deer bedded in, everyone that came out stopped off for a drink at that tile.Funny thing was there was a 1100 acre lake behind it and they still preferred the tile Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
