Guest beardsNspurs
Re: Admit it... I'll admit it....I do. Don't really know why. Entertainment I suppose. Its funny to see what guys will do to get the mighty $$. Don't have a favorite though.

Griz
Re: Admit it... Well I don't watch it. That's about as bad as watching soap operas and I don't do that either...LOL
VtBowhunter
Re: Admit it... It's entertainment, not wrestling. The "Pros" might be athletes, but they are not wrestlers. I wrestled in High School for all 4 years. That was REAL wrestling. It's an insult to call those fools wrestlers.

Tony
Re: Admit it... i guess i will come out and say it i watch Monday Night Raw and Smackdown on thursday and im not ashamed of it. i watch it for the entertainment value. heck its better than watching most of the other stuff on TV. at one time all of the pros wrestled on a high school or college level and theres a few that wrestled in the olympic games . sure i know its all fake and they know how to fall but it still has to hurt and you have to be a little crazy . oh my favorite StoneCold Steve Austin. AJ
Re: Admit it... I am an occastional viewer. If nothing else is on I watch it. Probably see it once a month or so. Whether its wrestling, or jumping around in tights, or whatever, these guys are closer to being athletes than some of the baseball and football players that are so called athletes. And like other sports, I believe the winner is known before the game or match starts. My favorite members of WWE would have to be Stone Cold and HHH. Canuck2
Re: Admit it... *LOL* @ snapper - nail hit on the head. Seems the majority in here don't watch it a whole lot. Good. Makes you wonder where the popularity lives, don't it?
sureshot
Re: Admit it... I have not watched male wrestling in at least 10 years but once in a while get the urge to watch the females!! I do think it is really fake but one time we had some guys come to our town and I was 16 and full of it LOL! [this was like the biggest thing in our small town LOL]This was the time there was bad news allan, and mucinsing[spelling lOL] Well this big fat muckinsing came by and kicked the chair at me , i did like any cocky 16 year old and kicked it back, well the look I got from all 700 pounds was enough to warn me never to do that again! Then there was this guy who was about 22 and pretty tough[thought so] decided to call it down and say it is all fake, bad news allen told him to come in the ring for a minute and get $500, he came in and ran away and kept his distance that jumped out and siad it was fake I told you! He got chased in the hall and allan smashed his head into a wall giving him 15 or 20 stitches! these guys are great atheletes, and tough, just to bad most of it is so fake! We have a guy in town who wressled with the harts when it first started in the 50's about and he said it was still fake then but they actually hit and dropped and tried to win, there wa sno set ups like there is now! I will admit I like watching the women wrestling though fake or not LOL!!
Straight Shooter
Re: Admit it... Can't stand the stuff, it's to fake and to much like a soap opera on steriods. The only good thing about it, are the women and the best parts of them are fake too!
archerjg
Re: Admit it... I have not watched since I was about 15. I know who the wrestler's are, but I don't watch the shows. Archerjg
Gus
Re: Admit it... I will admit it, I sometimes tune in to the WWE shows. I used to watch it all the time when I was in high school. The ones I like are Stone Cold and Goldberg.

lil hunter
Re: Admit it... Nope. I never watch that crap. It is so stupid. I saw a guy getting his head cut open with a pizza cutter. not a drop of blood. There was nothing but a read line going through his forehead. It is about as fake as it gets. Steven
Re: Admit it... I used to watch when it was "real". And by real, I mean when they at least acted like it was real. My favorites were always the Road Warriors.
strubedog
Re: Admit it... I grew up with a father that coached high school wrestling and wrestled in college. That crap was forbidden in my parents house growing up. Hate the stuff and won't let my son watch that when he gets older.

Tominator
Re: Admit it... only when i'm in Florida i've got this buddy that i met in the service, he was really into WWF, and still is. he knows it's fake, but he got me interested in it when we served together. he actually hauled me to a couple live events when we tied up in Virginia Beach once. it's hilarious to me. we used to imitate the old guys while out at sea. we had this one guy who imitated George The Animal Steele. he used to get a green sucker and eat a fake turnbuckle and everything. one day a couple guys were goofing off and right when George the Animal went to throw a fellow sailor, we hit a pretty big wave and the throwee (rick flair i believe) fell into a locker and required stitches to the head. so much for wrestling underway. the Man put an end to that quick. nope, don't watch it anymore.
