bozz Posted April 15, 2005 Report Share Posted April 15, 2005 I was born and raise there...24 years total...I now live in Ohio....lots of deer there but most the land is lease....you have to join one of the clubs....kinda pricey.......public land is only so-so.....I'm going back for a visit this summer....miss the place sometimes....mainly the warmer weather for sure....nice place just have to work and spend a little $$ to have decent hunting. Just the other side of Pensacola. Mobile is a big town!! Don't know too much about it except that Alabama has some big deer and most of the good hunting is on leased land. Can't hunt over corn though like you can here. If you like to fish...you are in luck. There's some great fishing outta the Gulf. Mobile Bay, Mobile River. I might still have a card for a realator in that area. Seemes is a nice town on the west side of Mobile (more rural). Good school system there too.
