Re: which is better?

The whole broadhead weight thing is over rated. In the past before bows were what they are today the rule of thumb was to use a bigger, heavier head, basically because they were the ones that provided bigger cutting diameter back in the day, and yes, they did provide more penetration due to the heavier head, but this was also when bows were SLOW!

Thanks to the technology we have today people have been blowing 85 & 90 grain broadheads through elk, moose, bear, etc. . I wouldn't worry about the weight of your broadhead, I'd buy a quality head that matches the spine of your arrow for your set up and shoot it, regardless of weight.

Re: which is better?

I'm going to break tradition here ( like they said) LOL crazy.gif I started out with 145 grns. then 125, then 100. I might very well drop down even lighter, " if it shoots well " Every arrow needs to weigh enough to shoot well out of your bow. I think your arrow is more important than the weight of the broadhead.

If it is spined correctly you can change your broadhead weights some. Nothing is good if it doesn't shoot accuractly shocked.gif
