boomer
Don't know how it affect deer because I don't deer hunt but if it is not a hard rain. I will be out hunting killed most of my turkeys in the rain and one in the snow.
Mach1
Re: does weather My brother shot his first bird in the pouring rain and they called it in and said it was gobbling its head off they whole way.
Guest ronin
Re: does weather The rain shuts the birds up in our area. They also seem to really slow down in the heat. We can get both this time of year in CA.
Rhino
Re: does weather To answer your question, maybe. Down here the birds gobble much better on cool, dry days. Windy mornings seem to surpress their gobbling on the roost too. I've hunted some other states and it didn't seem to mater much for some and others had gobbling activity all but shut down when the barametric pressure was low.
