Guest Colorado Bob
What is the NWTF formula for scoring your gobbler? I saw it in this issue of "The Caller"---but it went into the recycle bin. I think it's ------ weight x 2 -- Spurs X 3 -- Beard X2 -- Then add all 3 & that's the score. mo_hunter
Re: NWTF formula for scoring a gobbler each spur X 10 Beard X 2 weight X 1 then add together For example: weight = 23lbs. X 1 = 23 spur #1 = 1" X 10 = 10 spur #2 = 1.25" X 10 = 12.5 beard length = 10.5" X 2 = 21 Total = 23 + 10 + 12.5 + 21 = 66.5 points http://www.nwtf.org/all_about_turkeys/turkey_score.html
snapper
Re: NWTF formula for scoring a gobbler mo_hunter just about covered it. The NWTF web site is very useful...even the calculator is easy to use!
