Guest 3006
i live in indiana and we are getting some very unseasonable weather. i am a 1 year knowledged turkey hunter. i know quite a bit , but the thing i don't know is how to hunt turkeys when the weather isn't good. my question is , what happens when you have cold rainy weather when trying to ambush a turkey? because here in indiana it does not look good for the opener. Guest gobblergetter15
Re: fighting the elements!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Look for the turkeys to be in the fields. Once you find a gobbler out in a field while its raining, you can set up a stalk.
borch
Re: fighting the elements!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good Info, I'd add if it's windy as well, hit the calm side of hills in the fields or logging roads.
