Can you tell from all his gobbling what direction he is going after flydown? Most of the time he should be fairly consistant. If you think you know what direction he is going after flydown, I would setup somewhere in his travel path first and not try to get too close to him on the roost. Then if you hear him traveling in a different direction, you can make a move on him. Hope this helps.

sounds like he might be henned up i would try for another bird untill 10 then go in after him by that time tha hens should be on their nests leaving him all by his lonesome and more vulnerable to your calling good luck!
