BuckDiesel Posted April 23, 2005 Report Share Posted April 23, 2005 I've had a few bows in the past , but didn't keep'm long enough to feel comfortable to go in to the woods.My plan is to get a good comfortable bow (something that I won't have to take a loan out to get ) and practice,practice, practice. I know every body has a favorite, but I'm sure there is new stuff out that I might not know about. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks BD. If you aren't looking to spend an arm and a leg for a bow, you might want to look in to the Reflex line of bows. They are essentially Hoyts at half the price, and offer A LOT of bang for the buck. My buddy shoots a Reflex Extreme that he has had for a few years now. He paid I think $360 and some change out the door and it is worth every penny. If I were you, I would go and try out as many different brands in your price range as you can. The bow has to fit you well if you want to be happy and confident with it. I currently shoot a hoyt, but just bought the 95 pse firestorm lite, you have to handle them, shoot them, see what feel right to you, you can't pick a bow on heresay of others.
