Jeramie
I agree. People have no respect but I honestly believe its because our society as a whole doesn't teach, or condone for that matter, recourse for actions. You can mention prison all you want but discipline starts with YOUR children. If people keep refusing to raise them with priorities, values, and pride we will only see things get worse. Tominator
Re: Carefree people just comes down to a lack of common courtesy i guess. i go out of my way to not ding others cars in the parking lot. i don't let my children open doors either so they don't ding doors. if i have a vehicle i really care about, i park it way out, i mean, way out. i need the exercise anyway. strubedog
Re: Carefree people I hear your frustration. Growing up my dad always parked out in the boondocks so he wouldn't have those problems and I do as well now. The only ding I have gotten in my truck is from parking at basspro during an event, unfortunately the whole parking lot was full so I couldn't parked away from others. Gives me some excercise as well.
snapper
Re: Carefree people wtnhunt...did you check with management of the people who own the parking lot? Some places have cameras (I know Walmart does) and if your truck was keyed...that would be a criminal act. Couldn't hurt to ask...if you remember the date and time...they maybe able to look. Sorry about your Yukon...I know how you must feel. Some people are just plain ignorant and don't care about their own truck/cars so they don't care about yours either. I usally park way in the back with no one else nearby...not fool proof...but seems to help!
Steven
Re: Carefree people No matter how big a hurry I'm in, I return my shopping cart to the store, rather than the parking lot receptacles. I don't want to be responsible for someone else's hard work being ruined.
ruttinbuc
Re: Carefree people Lazy, Lazy, Lazy people are everywhere. They should charge you a dollar to use a cart. When you return it you get your dollar back. You won't see a one in the lot I bet. Its pretty d--m lazy of you not to return the cart period. There used to be a store around here that did that. It had a slot where you had to deposit a quarter to get the cart out of the rack, then when you plugged it back into the rack, you got your quarter back. It seemed to work pretty well, but the place went out of business.

archerjg
Re: Carefree people When Mom and dad first bought their Astro van Dad took it to work and someone opened their door right into it leaving two dents. The ydidn't even care that they had done it. They just made sure they were gone before Dad got off from work. I know how frustrating it is.
